I can’t find my thermal fuse so I can get a part number and replace it. It’s a whirlpool Cabrio wed7300wx0
Hey Hillari. Unplug the dryer power cord from the outlet. The bottom panel on the front of the dryer must be removed. Then remove the lint filter located at the bottom/front area of the dryer tumbler (with the door open). Next remove the metal duct just behind the bottom panel (already removed), to expose the thermal fuse on top of the round duct-work. Remove the thermal fuse and test it for continuity using a multi-meter, to confirm it’s bad. If you put in your dryer’s model number with the term “thermal fuse” and do an online search, you’ll find diagrams with parts and locations, replacement videos, and you’ll be able to shop for parts. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
Hillari Gosz follow the instructions (electric and Gas the same location of the fuse) on here.
Whirlpool part number for the Thermal fuse is WP3390719
