Does anybody have any information about where or how I can purchase a white ambient light FILTER for iPhones separate from the screen assembly? Or do I have to purchase an entire screen assembly that already comes with it? If this cannot be purchased is it possible for me to make one?
i have never found this that much of a necessity and i have replaced A LOT of 5c screens as they certainly have the biggest fail rate when dropped, but it depends on supplier and glass used. are you experiencing auto brightness issues after replacing a screen? main things i can say when replacing screen are to ensure that camera lens holder and proximity sensor holder are there or transferred over. Also new home button gasket or you will get the skinny home syndrome if using your original. perhaps your auto brightness sensor is not positioned correctly to left of proximity sensor, or it has been damaged which is fairly easy to do. are you sure it functions ok.
