Hello!I recently replaced the screen on a MacBook Pro 16” 2019 and it seemed it went very well. When i was done i turned it on and checked everything including charging. Everything was working.2 days later my customer comes back and says it doesn’t charge. After some troubleshooting this is confirmed. I think i may have broken the battery connector on disconnect and need to find a new one. I have searched but found nothing. I always find the small flex cable going over that connector but not the connector itself.Does anyone know where i can get it so it can be replaced? :)

Well the good news is your issue is not this connector! This is a simple compression connection of two contacts from the logic board and the cable element is part of the logic board so if you damaged the cable then the system wouldn’t have even started off of battery. If it where bad you would need a new logic board. At this point I think your issue is the batteries monitoring cable and/or its connections. Thats the cable you’ve folded over to the side. I would inspect the cable for damage and make sure you’ve properly latched the cable in each connection side. Review Steps 10, 11 & 12 as well as 13 & 14 for the other side in this guide MacBook Pro 16" 2019 Battery Replacement you’ll note the latches are folded up to release the pressure and folded back down to compress the cable within the connector when you reconnect the connection. Otherwise the logic boards charging logic needs to be checked out.
