I’m so frustrated! I stripped the T5 screws on the trackpad plate. Besides, now I have to deal with getting them out. I still need to replace those stripped screws. However, I barely can find new ones online. Where can I buy them? Is this screw the same size as logic board screw? Thanks!
You can find a t5 screw online you only need to search the model of the macbook pro and type in part out next to it hope this helps
Here’s one source: CPU Fan Screws (T5 Torx) You’ll likely need to file the length a bit as you don’t want them any longer that what you have. I have a plate which I use to hold the screws that I trim down for the keyboard screws, you may want to make one for your self out of some stock that is the correct thickness to hold the screw for here.
