I broke the spring pins in the sim card reader (not the sim card tray). Day 1!! Arghh… I can’t bring to HTC as NEXUS 9 LTE is not available in Singapore yet - I imported it. I tore open my Nexus 9 LTE and found that the sim card reader can be replaced as a component by itself. Where can I buy just the sim card reader?
Unfortunately this device page is for the Nexus_9, which is only wifi enabled. The Nexus_9 LTE has connectivity with a service provider, and since this device is so new, there really do not have nano-SIM card readers available online for the Nexus_9 LTE. I would recommend contacting HTC to see if you can return your tablet for a new one, if it is covered by the warranty. Best of Luck! Kelsey
I have the exact same problem as Alex, and both Google and JTC have been unable to help for 2 mos. Did you have any luck? If so, please let me know where you were able to locate the part
I called up HTC Hong Kong and was told to contact Google HK. I didn’t contact Gg HK. Seems like there’s no need to going by your experience. I’m still waiting for 3rd party repair to be available, but don’t think it’s available yet.
