Hi Check that the WLAN Power Management setting “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” is not enabled in Device Manager. Go to Device Manager - Network Adapters - click on the > symbol to the left of the category to expand the list - right click on the Realtek 8723 WLAN adapter entry - Properties - Power Management. If the checkbox has been selected i.e. X in checkbox, click on it to disable it, i.e. no X in checkbox, then click on Save, and restart the laptop in the normal manner and check if it now works OK. To get to Device Manager in Win 10, press the Win key and the x key (both together) and click on the Device Manager link that appears as an option.
