When The Flexgate Is Repair Apple Install The New 2Mm Longer Cable Macbook Pro 13 Touch Bar Late 2016

I want to know if when apple repair the flexgate on the macbooks they use a new display cable with the same length as the one already damage or they opt for the 2mm longer they start to put in the newer models? I don’t check it myself because I really does not know much about operating a computer and don’t want to damage anything.
