When Replacing A Brakelight Bulb Does The Lens Pull Straight Off Or A 1997 2003 Ford F 150

My 2001 f150 needs a brakelight bulb and the lens is giving me fits. After removing the screws, does the lens pop off while pulling it straight or at an angle?
