Hi All I’ve replaced battery in this ipad and now when I power up the apple logo appears on the screen for around 2seconds the screen goes dark, I’m saying dark as I still believe its powered as when I press and hold the power button it goes black there is a definate change. Any help and advise would be helpful….its apparent that is something I’ve done. Would be good to know what!
Can you put the iPad in restore mode? Try to press the power and home buttons at the same time for about 20 seconds, until you see the “Connect to iTunes” screen. If you can do this, most likely a factory restore via iTunes will solve the issue. If you cannot put the iPad in restore mode, then the problem is way more serious and very likely in the motherboard.
