When my ceiling fan rotates the noise is like type writer hitting sound . What could be the problem?
Hi Sethuraman, I just went through this at my son’s house; all of his ceiling fans were noisy in different ways; on two of them the blades were loose and just had to be tightened; the other one wasn’t mounted well to the ceiling and had to be resecured. So yeah, grab a Phillips screwdriver and tighten all the screws that hold the fan blades onto the motor. I’d almost be willing to bet that will take care of your noise.
