Chosen Solution
When I was playing Mario kart, a random error appeared (I don’t remember what the error said or the code) i turned off the 3ds but later when I tried to turn it back on both screens stayed black but the blue light was still on. I let the 3ds be for a few weeks and it wasn’t until yesterday i tried turning on the console, when I turned it on both screens were still black and blue light turned on but it immediately after the blue light turned off so I tried again and same thing happened (I’m not sure if this helps but the 3ds has cfw and the 3ds is a new 3ds xl

Hello, the issue is that one of the screen’s ribbon cables must’ve gotten torn or damaged in someway. For some reason Nintendo had made it so if a display is disconnected the console will shut off immediately. This is a very common fault amongst the entire Nintendo 3ds and DS family of consoles.
