I was trying to reinstall MacOs since my keyboard wasn’t working and would only respond in safe mode. But when I pressed command R while pressing the start/off button, it started flashing a Grey screen of a mouse and is completely unresponsive. Please help!
The grey mouse is the system telling you it can’t find it (trackpad) or an external input (USB or Bluetooth) mouse or trackpad. Time to check your battery first! Note how flat the battery cells are, are any of yours blistered up? Take a picture if you’er not sure and post it as well.
