Chosen Solution
So I have this Xbox that I used to play but I left it in the store room then I rediscovered it and tried turning it on but i would press the power button and it would beep for 1 second then turn off. Sometimes it turns on but then when I close the disc tray it would turn off and beep quick. Please help.
Hey mate, this issue is caused by one of two things to my understanding. Leaking capacitors and/or broken tracks on the PCB. You’ll need to open the Xbox up and have a look at the mother board and power supply. After that, it’ll either need new cap and/or the tracks repaired.
