Hello, I Noticed the other day on my Kenmore dishwasher that there was some standing water in the bottom after the cycle is done. When I hit the cancel/drain button Instead of draining the water, more water started to come in like it was starting a new wash cycle. The old water is not draining, I cannot start a new cycle to get the standing water out. I pulled the bottom apart and can’t find any blockages. It is like the signals are backwards.
Have you disconnected the hose from your garbage disposal (or sink drain if no disposal) and verified it isn’t clogged? You said the bottom wasn’t. I would check the drain hose next.
