I have a Yamaha dgx 640 everything powers on . The speakers make a pop noise like they do when you cut them on, but absolutely no sound is produced . What do I do

first thing you want to check is the headphone jack. Make sure there is no broken or left over part in there. After that, check the menu to see what the Local Control function is set to On or to Off.
