My game gear is broken and I’ve seen some repair kits. My problem is that I’m not sure about what version is my game gear. I know there’s VA1, VA2, One Asic, Two Asic, etc., but is mine?! Yours is a 2 ASIC version. There is only one version with the 2 ASIC IC’s so you only need to worry about following the 2 ASIC guide. Here is a very detailed walkthrough: http://www.nintendorepairhut.com/images/… I buy my capacitors for these consoles from Mouser.com, and I recommend Nichicon brand capacitors.
