I was replacing my thumb sticks when i noticed 2 of the screws are rusted and one of them got stripped. My question is what are the demotions of the screws and where can i buy them? thanks for the help.
Gary, the screws are actually M2X6 Phillips flat head machine screws. The 6mm is a reference to the length of the screw, M2 is metric 2mm thread. Something like this should work. Hope this helps, good luck.
Hey mate, the DualShock 4 uses, 6.0 mm phillips #00 screws.
My best measurements indicate the diameter of the screws are 76 mil and the thread pitch is 40TPI. I’ve read from multiple sources that M2 by 6mm (metric) screws work well, as the fitting it is being threaded into is plastic, I’d imagine it is quite flexible. I’ve ordered stainless M2 screws myself to give it a go. Unfortunately I can’t find anything that even resembles these screws from any standard.

They shouldn’t rust in the first place! I got the same issue, but the 2 screws tho And yea it’s bs I believe Sony owes us! Receipt or no Receipt Considering how loyal I been
