That is either main cellular or secondary wifi antenna. The secondary wifi antenna goes to the front of the speaker, while the main cellular antenna goes to the dock flex. Because wifi and cellular functions both has 2 antennas, all functions will seem to work with one disconnected, however you may experience poorer speed or signal strength after this.
