Dear Sirs, I am keen to replace the touchscreen on my iPad. Your guides are very comprehensive. I have a SMD Rework Station that I use for other jobs which can be set to any temperature between 100c and 500c with air flow adjustable from 1 -8. My question is; what temperature and air flow setting should I use for the above task? Thank you kindly Ian
We use about 300C.
I have a Wagner HT3500 Digital Heat Gun that I set at 850F it seems to do the job well I would say set your air to max and move the heat gun around the fame at all times.
