Hi, everybody. The first time you take an iPhone out of the box, it turns itself on. How is this implemented? With a light sensor?

Uh, I don’t think they are supposed to do that. It sounds like someone had already turned on the phone before.

The iphone XR has a light sensor so it turns on when the box is open.

The phone should not be turn on until you press the power button
