Inland Professional 512GB SSD 3D TLC NAND SATA III 6Gb/s 2.5" 7mm Internal Solid State Drive (512GB) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088KLZKPQ/ref… here’s the drive. The advertised read speed is about 520 MB/s. From what I read depending on your hardware and if your PC supports SATA III or not it can be around 200-300 MB/s. Now the PS4 slims original HDD is about 100 MB/s. The PS4 slim is SATA II so it can only go up to 300 MB/s. So I was expecting to probably get 300 MB/s but when I read it can vary based on hardware I got worried. I got worried that the hardware would bottleneck this SSD lower than the 100 MB/s of the OG HDD. Is that even possible or would I get around 200-300 MB/s?

What difference does it make if it bottlenecks? All PS4 of the same model has the same core performance and SSD is definitely faster than HDD. You are worrying about something that both don’t exist and you can’t change.
