Chosen Solution
So a few months ago my cousin gave me his iPhone 7. He said it won’t turn on. I asked him what happened to it and he said he dropped it into some snow and after a few days it didn’t turn on. It still charged before it broke. I took a look inside and i couldn’t find any signs of water damage (the water indicators are still white). i left it on a charger for a few hours but it won’t turn on. No vibration or anything. What part could be broken?
Have you tested anything? Like putting in a known good battery to see if it will turn on? I would try that first. Update (06/13/2020) It could have a bad tristar ic and won’t charge and once the battery is dead the phone won’t turn on. Try a charged battery and see if the phone will turn on. If it does and it won’t charge its probably the tristar.
