What makes a LCD display brake… My ipad mini 3 worked, but I needed to changed the broken glass. I thought everything worked well during the change, but when I started the ipad again, half the display hade this classic lines over the display, that it had been broken. What could have happend? Do I safely buy a new LCD and hopes it works, or is it a big risk that, that LCD aswell will go broke?
Hi Your display might not be broken Did you try reseating the connectors and cleaning the connectors on the screen and board with isopropyl alcohol? Doing that will remove any invisible dirt that our human eyes can see that could disturb the connection causing lines However if you pressed down on the display too hard or something isnt In correctly it could damage this display also(eg a dent) Hopefully this helps Any questions please ask Thanks:-)
