Warmest Greetings! What mainboards are compatible with a Samsung smart TV with the model number: UN43NU6900F (RZ03)? The reason I ask is because it seems to have gone dead, and I can replace it; yet, the one I “should” be able to put into it is not available anywhere. (The Samsung BN81-17875A / Power Supply board 0980-0900-0830 is simply out of stock everywhere. Well, some places have it but they want $250-$350 for it which is ridiculous.) Any help would be highly appreciated. We bought the TV in 2019, and the mainboard had to be replaced under warranty less than a year later. Now, 18 months after the repair, the new mainboard appears to be, again, dead. We care for the TV, it’s in a spot with normal conditions, and plugged into a surge protector. There’s no obvious reason this should have gone bad twice. (I really think Samsung should stand by their TVs for longer!) I was wondering if a more available mainboard would fit into this TV, as its native mainboard can’t be found. Thank you!
@flowingfire one of the indicators that this main board/power supply is having issues, is the unavailability and overinflated cost if you can find it. Typical for Samsung lately to run into stuff like that. I am sure other OEM’s have these issues too but Samsung is just mentioned more frequently. All that aside, it will be difficult to find a board that is compatible. This would require that all connectors are physically the same and the electrical connections are the same. There may be a way of finding one but it would require having to check the aforementioned issues (connectors/connections) and schematics for those boards are not readily public available. It’s a difficult one…. Do an online search and see if you can get somebody to repair your board. Maybe something like this would work
