I’m looking to upgrade my m.2 SSD in this laptop. Trying to find out what keying it has without having to take it apart.

It appears the slot has a M keying (5 contacts on keyed side), which matches up with the Upgrade Guide’s claim that “GL502 allows for an NVME M.2 PCIe 3.0 X4 SSD”, since M keying allows for 4x lanes of bandwidth. See also: https://rog.asus.com/articles/maximus-mo…
