Hello! I have an Samsung SyncMaster EX2220 type monitor. But one of my cable connection on the LCD screen get broken. I would like to buy an other cable, but I am not sure what the type is it or where can I buy? Maybe a backlight cable? 6 pin cables. I can read the next information on the cable: Black outer protect part: 125°C vw-1 Sumitube Nhr4 diam.6mm 4 white cables: E4139 6 Awm vw_1 105°C 2 black cables: Lf Hf
Thank you. Bye. Update (06/01/2020)

Hi @loveparade ! I have bad news for you. I have to had buy new monitor insted of it. But of course paralell I spend months tried to fix it or looking a cable supplier. I wrote cable distrobutors with no aswer. Only one cable I think is not a value for them. I found the name of the cable, but I could not buy it from anywhere. I do not remember the type. I found a similar that can found now: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32809840… !!! But the original cable serial was slighty differnet not that I linked above: CI1406…………….. I googled the screen panel and main board and any other part has got number on it and somewhere found that CI1406……………… Finally I bought that: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/17982170… But this cable only fitt in in the panel but not in the screen, so that was just waste of the money. With no sucess I pressed back the broken cable end and glue it in the socket. It is worked! But when I pressed back I have just one end borken (check my pictures above) so that can be settled in the correct space, I needed to glue to stay there. When I tested the connection and worked, I used a heat glue gun, and glue the plastic connection into the socket/ into the screen. Update (01/20/2021)
Hi @singleplayer , According to the service manual it is the backlight (or lamp) cable. I can’t find it listed in the parts list in the manual but it must be there somewhere. Perhaps you may have better luck finding it ;-) Once you’ve found it, search online using the part number only to get results for suppliers of the part.
Hi @Zsolt Nemeth, I wanted to thank you for your reply to this topic. What I need to know to be able to do with the hot glue is to know if the cable has any pinout order, I have the connector that has the complete tab, which is broken is the backpanel. Doesn’t matter the order of the black and white cables? in position 1 is it white, 2 white 3 black, 4 black, 5 white, 6 white in the same order as the tab connector? With that I would be able to connect it. Thanks a lot Detail of my cable.
Hello, thanks for answering me, I have found the cable of another monitor, the difference is the final connector of the suppy and the order of the colors, it is not the same, but following the logic of the cable what I am going to do is solder that cable. I will try the same sequence that you tell me. I am attaching photos, so you can see that the backpanel connector is the same, I imagine that the standard is the same for everyone, it remains to try and pray. I’ll tell you if it works after all or has pufff. Thanks a lot
