hi i bought a iphone 7 a cheap deal with the hopes of repairing it up it has been opened up before but the wrong screws were inserted ive no had a look and the shield that sits on top of the battery and screen connector has a screw stuck in it with a round ring im not sure if this is part of the phones logic board or its from the screw but i cannot seem to get it off so what i would like to know is if its part of the actual phone or if it is part of the screw ?
Hi @kyounis, It’s a little blurry image, but it looks like a standard standoff, to make sure there’s correct space between the board, and the screw mounting point.
