what is this part called? It’s to the left of the fuse behind the grate at the top
Looks like a thermocouple
It is probably a high limit thermostat or a thermal fuse. Though it could be the base for the bulb. More info as to location and if it is sticking through what appears to be a hole behind it would be helpful.
