I bought this MacBook Pro 13” early 2015 with a screen that looks like a bad TV channel with interference. Could this chip by the lvds connector be the cause? It’s damaged. I have another late 2013 a1502 with a similar chip. Is that compatible?

this is what the screen looks like. The seller said it just stopped working. When I opened the case I noticed the damaged chip.
This is an inductor coil L2920
While the ferrite element is damaged I don’t see this is the cause of your display issues. Can you post a few pics so we can see what you are seeing.
