Hello, My laptop fails to response to touch input, in short, no touch at all while the display works fine. I wonder if it is the problem with the screen itself or from some part called Touch Control Board. Many thanks.

If your touchscreen isn’t working or not responsive how you would expect, first thing is to try restarting your PC. If you’re still having problems, check for updates: Select Start , then select Settings .In Settings, select Update & security , then WindowsUpdate , and then select the Check for updates button. Install any available updates and restart your PC if required.If you didn’t have any updates that required a restart, it’s still a good idea to restart your device to make sure any pending updates are installed. Worth a try anyway as it has helped others with the no touchscreen problem in HP laptops. What is the full model number of the laptop?
