What is the cause of my TV screen problem A quarter of my TV screen showing a white patch and beside it the next quarter is giving the pictures a green edge. Only the two other quarters show clear pictures. What is cause of this problem ? The ribbon cable ? ,The scanning board ? Or the display panel?. The TV is a Samsung 32 LED series 4003. The model no is UA32EH4003R. Update (08/30/2019)
None of the clips on the bottom of the panel align with their holders on chassis . Can I trace the panel brand and model using the part no ? See how looks now
@cjmike looks like a total loss of the video signal. Could be a t-con board error as well as a source driver issue on the LCD control board which is part of your panel. Check on top of the LCD panel for a bunch of small ribbon cables that come from the driver board and are entering the panel. Put some pressure on the cable corresponding with the area that does not display an picture. See if that changes anything. If so you have a failed TAB issue. Let us know what you find out.
