Model no. LN37C550J1F Hello, I got this Samsung tv for free so it’s no big deal but I would like to fix it if it’s an easy fix. After turning on, within about a minute it starts to buzz. It seems to be coming from the back. And when you put a bit of pressure on the power cable it gets a little quieter. I will include a video with the sound. Thanks! === ===
@imac88 I am with @andrewsawesome on that. Sounds like a coil whine or transformer issue on the power board. Time to remove the back cover and take a closer look at the board. Post some good pictures of the boards with your Question so we can see what you see. Of course, do not touch the boards for as long as the TV is still plugged in. Even if it is unplugged, you want to make sure you discharge the capacitors before touching things .-)
