Hey guys, Replacing some logic boards. One is a 5S and the other a 6S. I usually install completely and then test. Do you guys have a method to test it before installation? I.e. hook the battery, lightning port, and LCD up and test prior? Thoughts?
Most repair shops would simply hook up a few components like the Lightning Port board, Battery, and then the LCD to test. However, I recommend fully reassembling the 5S and 6S components (no need to screw them to the case) to test the components, since those two are quite problematic if critical components such as Touch ID aren’t detected.
