Chosen Solution
I have a thunderbolt display that recently showing a barely seen vertical line (see picture) some kind of noise, there is nothing else wrong, neither color or picture. I was wondering if its noise from power supply or logic board or T-CON board, the lcd is LM270WQ1-SDB3. The ribbon wire inside of the monitor may need to be “reseated”. Basically unplugged and plugged back in. Before you go through all that trouble try to eliminate ALL electro-magnetic sources of interference. If it persists, it may be the ribbon wire.
