I have a 1989 Chevrolet C3500 one ton pickup truck, it has 66,000 orginal miles on it. A couple weeks ago it started making a very loud knocking noise on my way home from work. The noise seems to be coming from the engine area. It has a 454 7.4 liter engine. The oil level is fine and just recently did an oil change using valvoline 5W30 motor oil. Any suggestions of what might be going on ?
