I have an old iPhone 5c laying around that I had when I was with AT&T. Now I have verizon and was tinkering with it to see if I could repair it and use it as a backup. My question is if I replace the mother board with one from a Verizon phone will it then work on Verizon? Is the motherboard even different between the two? And if not what would I have to do to use it with Verizon.
Motherboard is the phone, the rest is nothing. US iphone 5cs all have the same case, battery .etc. You can switch the motherboard. However replacing the board just to switch carrier does not make economical sense, just buy another second hand phone.
