I recently removed my wifi/Bluetooth antenna in my iPhone 5s. While prying it out of the phone, the gold circle on the bottom left edge of the antenna broke. Here is a photo of the part. http://www.fixez.com/media/catalog/produ… It is a very fragile, thin piece of the part and seems as if it is only gold coating. If this part is broken, will it interfere with the circuitry? Will it cause the antenna to not work altogether? I haven’t had a chance to try to use the antenna, as I’m wating for a replacement battery to come in the mail. I will surely try to use it to see if it’s working or not when I get my battery. But for now I am just worried that I may have to replace the antenna too. Thoughts? Experiences? Thanks for your help.

We don’t have any idea. Pop it in and find out. Now that you’ve done it once, you can whip that board in and out of that phone in about 25 seconds, no big deal. My guess is that you’ll be fine.

it will cause it not to work that gold contact point is important
