Here is an additional photo, maybe this will help. Apparently I cut the cable to the left of the tear camera while taking off the display. I can’t determine what it connects to. Can you tell me what it goes to and can I buy a part to fix it?

This is a cellular model, likely cellular/GPS antenna or capacitive prox censor. The picture is not clear enough to tell for sure.
I agree with Tom Chai, I believe this is for the Cellular module. I did a lot of planning before I got my own iPad, and a cellular feature was one option I didn’t want to pay for. Considering some of the parts I have seen in some laptops and phones, this looks like it could be a cellular module
