I have come across 3 different Apple Mac display cable connectors from unrelated sources ( an imac and 2 x macbook airs) this week which have a ‘0’ or ‘O’ or a circle drawn on them with a marker. Just wondering what this would normally denote? is it some kind of Apple technician code or something. I am unable to test the displays to see if they work so cannot work out if it means they do or don’t work or something else. Can anyone help me?
Its a QC mark placed on the part or system to denote something during the manufactoring process. It’s nothing useful to you or me.
