Have a huge crack in my 65" 4k E65E1 Vizio tv. Long 4" hole in bottom middle of screen with spiderwebs going out. I just ordered it and got a full refund but the seller told me to keep the broken device. I want to see what rough repair estimates are. I would be okay with up to $300 because I could sell this for $500 easy.

Here’s what parts on your TV are selling for. (the display is missing from the parts list) https://encompass.com/model/VIZE65E1/LTM…
The reason that the seller told you to keep it is that the screen would cost more then the new TV. Just like in the “old days” with CRT TVs, when the CRT went bad, it was time for a new one. Now -a-days, when the screen breaks it is time for a new one. You can sell the boards inside for something though. Put the unit on Ebay as a broken screen but otherwise new and you should get offers for the boards. Dan
