Chosen Solution

Hello, I want to repair an iPhone 6 after water damage. It does not power on at all. Screen is pitch black. I just replaced the battery, screen and Home button. now what are the next steps? I saw on internet an Ac Dc test cable going from led terminal to IPhone 6 connector to spot where power stops but I need clearer instructions. I am a total beginner but a strong-willed, fast-learner. Any help would be welcome except telling me to bring the phone to a Professional repair Shop. I absolutely want to do it myself because, first because this is my Beloved wife’s phone and Second, I invested significant money in tools and parts. Thank you for your understanding.

Firstly put that universal charger in a draw. If you are serious about repairing phones you need the right diagnostic tools to determine the problem before you can fix it. ·         Benchtop DC power supply. ·         Good Multimeter with needle point probes. ·         Power squid to power the phone from DCPS to battery connector on logic board. ·         Board view software. ·         Schematic diagrams. If you already have a multimeter you should be able to determine why it is not powering on by diode readings from the power rails which you will find in the schematics and then locate with boardveiw software. Get a DCPS like Allan said and purchase a power squid.
