I dropped my iPhone 7 on it’s corner. Screen is cracked but phone still functions normally. I had a screen protector and case protector, but overloaded both with the fall. What exactly do I need to replace and what tools would be required to effect this repair. My confusion is, since the phone still functions, can I just replace the glass or is the facing glass and digitizer come as one piece? Thanks in advance.
You just need to replace the LCD! Changing just the glass is not recommended unless you have the required equipment (very expensive), and the skills. You can purchase the LCD through the ifixit store. They will have an option to purchase with needed tools.
