There is an “adhesive card” that came in my battery repair kit. What do I do with it?

Hi, It is used to hold the new battery in place if the old adhesive sticker is damaged when removing the old battery. See Steps. 19 & 20 of the ifixit OnePlus 5T Battery Replacement guide.
