I have replaced the battery in my phone and my wife’s phone a couple times with no problem. This time my wife’s phone earpiece stopped working. I ordered a new earpiece speaker, Installed it, still doesn’t work. I guess I may have disrupted something. any suggestions?
Assuming the battery was disconnected during the removal of the LCD. Check cable area for damage, even a small tear can disrupt this device. You may need a microscope or a sharp eye. Check gold contacts making sure they are clean and aligned with it.
