Hello guys, Recently I replaced my iPhones taptic engine because the phone didn’t vibrate. After the repair the problem wasn’t solved. The phone doesn’t vibrate to this day. I’d like to test my taptic engine by giving it the current it needs. Maybe this is a deeper problem and it is not the engines fault. Thank you for your answers.
It’s not possible to route D.C. Power to it to make it work. The Taptic Engine is driven by a wave signal generated by one of the speaker amps and feedback from the actuator is required to drive it properly.
