I plan on upgrading to a 2tb ssd what sata connector do I need to ensure that my efforts will be successful? Thank you
This Mac Mini natively supports 2.5” SATA drives. So no connectors or adapters are necessary.The SATA connector itself is quite standard so just about any 2.5” SATA drive should fit. There are upgrade kits available that will ensure the correct drive, plus necessary tools, although it does not appear they have a 2TB kit if that’s what you are after. Did you have a specific drive in mind?
