What computer does this hard drive go in
Hi @jpicking85 That is a PATA HDD. So it will fit into any PC that has IDE connectors on the motherboard and also a spare 4 pin power cable to connect to the drive. If inserting in a desktop and not a laptop you will also need a 2.5” to 3.5” caddy so that it can be physically mounted in a drive bay It is outdated now but you can get IDE HDD to SATA adapters that will allow you to connect to any PC that has the sata connectors. Here’s a link that may help.
It will work in any laptop with an IDE interface. Some laptops may have trouble fully addressing it without a 3rd party tool to split the partitions on the drive, mainly 28-bit LBA machines which cap at 128GB.
