Hello, I have a Mac mini 2014 which wont boot. When pushing the power button the fan spins for a fraction of a second and is off for 2-5 seconds. This cycle repeats endless. The USB-Ports have the same pattern of powered on and off. I tried another power supply without any change. When inspecting the Logicboard thoroughly i noticed a missing/broken component, but I cant find any details about it and I hope you can help me. It is the very first component on the long edge of the Logicboard (purple rectangle)

Here is a closeup. The only markings I can recognize is a “As” written on it.

I hope you can help me with this Best regards Simon

@downforce that looks like a SMD chip capacitor. There are no schematics for the Mac mini so you would need to rely on either somebody measuring it on their logic board or trying to find another one of those on your board. You need a capacitance meter to measure a capacitor.
