rdjohns0168 , There are a few things that can cause idle issues like you are having, vacuum leaks(hoses cracked/disconnected, intake/TB base/ gasket leak, faulty injectors, Idle air control valve, Throttle position sensor faulty, fuel pump failing, O2 sensor failing, EGR leaking/sticking, etc., etc.. Try to see if there are any trouble codes stored, to help determine fault. Some of the auto parts suppliers offer free code reading like Pepboys, Nappa, Advanced auto parts,etc and some of the guys are very knowledgeable and may have seen the issue often and put you on the right track.
