What are these white dots and what could be the cause of them? The seller told me that they are from removing the screen protecter and that it is only the glass damage. Could that happen?
They are only seen from specific angle and when the screen is off. I am wondering if it is safe to buy this computer. This is Thinkpad Yogal13
Kinda looks like screen delamination. Where the outside coating is beginning to separate from the layer below. Update (09/10/2021) My experience with screen delamination is with apple MacBooks. As such I would take it to a Apple store to verify. I’m sure any computer repair shop could verify it for you.
If that’s what it is. It will get worse. It’s a common problem In MacBooks as well
